"The course of my destiny appears entwined with that of water. Expressions of flowing water and falling rain appear throughout my artworks."
Following his critically acclaimed Australian debut, Qi Deyan will hold his second Australian exhibition of his contemporary watercolour and inkbrush works at Chapel on Station Gallery from 28 April to 11 May 2006.
A selection of over 35 watercolour and inkbrush works will be available including recent works from his trip to Europe as well as works from China and Australia. Examples of both his contemporary and traditional watercolour styles will be on display. Please come to the gallery for the chance to glimpse the unique perspective of the world through the eyes of a master artist. Also featured will be selected works by Qi Deyan's wife, Professor Chang Lianyu.
The exhibition will be opened by eminent Australian watercolourist, Louise Foletta.
The opening night will be held on 28 May 2006 commencing at 6.30pm. The exhibition will remain open to the general public for two weeks, closing on 11 May 2006.
